This is the cloudy counterpart to our clear, freshly-pressed opener to the brewing season, Shiboritate. Enjoyed by those who find much nigori sake to be a little stodgy, it is unassumingly sweet and drinks surprisingly lightly for undiluted sake.
Its companion product is unpasteurised, but this has been heat treated so there is no danger of frothing and overflowing. Conventionally drunk after being well shaken, but it is fun to compare the taste of the clear portion on its own before shaking to mix the sediment.
